Textured abstract landscape with a yellow moon right of centre in a vivid blue opening. Rust-brown and charcoal forms fill the lower half. A silver-grey band with pink and gold traces stretches across the top.

A wide blue opening curves across the centre, dipping towards the right. A small pale yellow moon glows within it, surrounded by lighter blue strokes. Above, a heavy band of grey and silver carries muted pink, cream and ochre along its uneven lower edge. Below, rust-brown, maroon and near-black forms rise highest on the left, then descend beneath the moon before lifting at the right. Vertical grooves, scraped patches and raised seams give this foreground a rugged surface. The arrangement suggests earth cradling a space of light.

The earth rises around the blue, keeping a hollow for the moon. Warmth remains in the rust-coloured folds, as though the day has settled into stone. Above them, a little gold persists. The night is spacious, and the land beneath it feels close enough to touch.
