Textured abstract landscape with cream and golden light spreading across the upper left, merging into pale blue and grey on the right. A small amber disc lies left of centre. Dark brown and blue ridges sweep across the lower third beneath the mist-like colour.

A luminous area of cream, pale yellow and gold opens across the upper left of the painting. Within it, a small amber disc sits slightly left of centre, partly enclosed by olive-grey and ochre strokes. Broken ribbons of gold extend beneath it towards the middle.

Through the centre, pale blue and ivory form a softly coloured passage. Towards the right, these colours deepen into slate blue and grey, interrupted by muted ochre patches and curling ridges of paint. The boundaries remain diffuse, suggesting light filtering through mist.

Across the lower third, a broad, uneven band of brown, charcoal and deep blue suggests foreground land or a shoreline. Long raised strokes sweep diagonally from the lower left towards the centre, meeting tangled, mostly horizontal marks on the right. Fine scratches, grooves and thicker folds of paint weave across the surface, giving even the palest areas a visibly worked texture.

Gold appears through the mist in fragments. A small amber light hovers over a landscape whose edges loosen and drift. Nearer ground gathers in dark folds, while the distance opens into blue-grey air. The place feels familiar before it can be named—as though a remembered shore has briefly surfaced, carrying its light with it.
