Textured abstract landscape with a small yellow moon near the upper centre in vivid blue. A dark ridge slopes down from the left. Dense rust-brown, charcoal, turquoise and cream textures fill the lower area.
A small raised yellow moon hangs near the upper centre, slightly to the right, within a broad cobalt-blue sky. Fine grooves and sweeping strokes move through the blue. Below, an uneven ridge descends from high on the left towards the right. Its surface is densely layered with brown, charcoal, grey and cream. Rust-red patches gather towards the lower left, while turquoise and brighter blue break through across the foreground. Tangled ridges and scraped seams suggest weathered terrain. The small moon provides a quiet focus above this intricate ground.
Under ancient moon, the land keeps the marks of its long becoming. Dark seams hold beside worn pale edges, and blue appears between the folds. We bring our brief lives to this enduring surface. The moon lights a place where memory can settle, and where a hand might begin to know the ground.
