Textured abstract landscape with a small white disc left of centre within a broad cream-and-gold glow. A long rust-orange arc spans the upper sky. Dark brown and navy ridges fill the lower third, interrupted by a narrow pale blue passage on the left.
A broad field of ivory, cream and pale gold illuminates the centre of the painting. Within it, a small irregular white disc sits left of centre, just above the foreground ridge, suggesting a moon. Pale blue runs along the left side of the glow, while warmer ochre and grey-brown gather towards the right.
A long ribbon of rust-orange curves across the upper portion, rising from the left before sweeping towards the darker right edge. Fine parallel grooves follow this arc. Beneath it, the luminous central area remains softly defined, with faint yellow and peach passages mingling through the cream.
Across the lower third, uneven masses of burnt brown, charcoal and navy suggest land or a shadowed shoreline. A pointed ochre rise stands below and left of the white disc. Beside it, a narrow passage of pale blue and white descends through the darker foreground. Long tangled ridges, scratched lines and overlapping folds of paint give the lower surface a dense, restless texture.
A pale light hangs over the crossing. Below it, dark ridges gather, and a slender gleam slips between them towards us. Overhead, an ember-coloured arc carries the last warmth across the sky. The distance remains uncertain, but the light offers a bearing—a quiet point to hold while the surrounding world settles into night.
