Movement of Light, number twenty-one.
A large luminous peach-cream cloud fills the centre. Deep navy gathers at the upper right. Golden-ochre marks appear below the cloud, above a broad sandy-gold foreground.
The cloud opens like a great warm breath within the blue. Its brightness reaches towards the sand.
Warm light returns so suddenly that the afternoon seems to open again. The sand shines beneath the cloud. We feel how a moment can expand within us, how something fleeting can become a place we return to for years, long after the weather itself has gone.
