Movement of Light, number fourteen.
A large luminous cream-grey cloud fills the upper left and centre, surrounded by dark brown-grey sky. A thin broken white horizon separates it from a broad sandy-gold foreground.
The cloud glows within the surrounding darkness. Below it, the sand catches a warmer light.
The beach glows beneath the darkening sky. We stand before that unlikely meeting of warmth and shadow. The song carries a distant unease; the storm gives it space around us. For a moment, the troubles of another age feel close to our own.
