Movement of Light, number ten.
Curling cream-white brushstrokes crown a dark blue-grey cloud. Teal-blue sky remains open on the right. A thin pale horizon runs above a broad warm brown foreground.
The cloud curls over itself, its bright crest catching the light. Each stroke leaves a trace of the hand that made it.
Our steps find the rhythm of the song, then fall away from it. The waves continue in overlapping measures. Listening, we become aware of many times moving together: the length of a song, the passing afternoon, the slow making and unmaking of a coast.
