Textured abstract landscape with a small cream-white moon right of centre. Deep indigo fills the upper area, while pale blue-grey spreads across the bottom. Silver ridges sweep between these regions around an open blue band.
The upper portion is deep indigo, crossed by broad silver-grey smears and raised, branching ridges. A softer blue band opens beneath them. The small cream-white moon rests within this band, right of centre and below the middle. Across the lower area, pale blue, grey and white mingle in sweeping patches. Their irregular edges suggest mist passing over indistinct land. Scratches and thin grooves remain visible beneath heavier folds of paint. The boundary between sky and ground is uncertain, with the moon providing a clear point of light.
Mist rises until the land loses its edges. The moon stays with us, a small pale presence in the blue. What lies below might be a ridge, a shore, or a place returning from memory. We wait between what is visible and what can only be imagined.
